Thanks to all our fans for attending our sold-out July 27 bout! It was a hard-hitting, fast-paced game, and Boston took the victory 195-153. Many thanks to special guest and Cambridge Mayor Henrietta Davis for blowing our bout-opening whistle. We also want to give a shout-out to the Detroit Derby Girls for coming out and playing a fantastic game; our fabulous announcers, Pelvis Costello and Captain Skidd; and our delicious food trucks, Shuckin’ Truck and Bone Daddy’s Burgers.

We loved playing in Cambridge at Simoni Rink in May, and we’re happy to announce that the Boston Derby Dames will return to Cambridge July 27 to take on the ladies of Detroit.
The last time the Boston Derby Dames and the Detroit Derby Girls faced off was in 2009, when Detroit beat us on our own turf, 108-84. But Boston is all about comebacks—and we hope to stage one on July 27th.
Tickets are general admission and are $15. We sold out last time, so we advise picking some up ASAP. Presales will shut down 48 hours before game time; we’ll let folks know on Twitter and Facebook if there are still tickets at the door. As always, kids under six are admitted FREE; we’ll also be honoring season ticket holders, so if you have a season pass to our bouts at Shriners, you can come see this game as well.
And if watching roller derby gets your adrenaline flowing and your thirst for PBR raging, come hang with the Dames at the official after party at the Massasoit Elks Lodge in Central Square from 9:30PM-2AM. We’ll have tunes aplenty, a full bar (with cheap PBR) and the company of the toughest broads in greater Boston. Just tell the door you’re with the Boston Derby Dames and they’ll wave you in.
