Home Team Double Header

BRD’s home teams head back to the Shriners Auditorium on May 20 for the last matchups before playoffs.

At 5:00 p.m., the Wicked Pissahs (2-0) will take the track against the Cosmonaughties (0-2). Don’t let the records fool you – both teams have a lot of fire and are sure to put up a fight for their final regular-season game of the year. The Cosmos also have a new trick up their sleeves – Boston Massacre powerhouse and Team East All Star Shark Week will make her game-day debut with the team, after being scooped up in the first round of the league’s midseason draft earlier this month.

At 7:00 p.m., the Nutcrackers (1-1) take on the Harbor Horrors (1-1) in what is sure to be an exciting matchup. The Nuts added two new skaters in the recent draft, rookie Hermione Rager and Boston Massacre skater Five Penny. The Horrors will once again have America Ayala on the track with them after she was redrafted following a brief leave of absence at the start of the season.

Doors open at 4:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online for a discounted price of $12, or at the door for $16. Admission covers entry for both games. You may want to order sooner than later, however, as previous games this season sold out.

The games will take place at the Shriners Auditorium,  99 Fordham Rd, Wilmington, MA. Free onsite parking available. Food and drinks sold at the venue.

If this is your first bout, be sure to look out for our “Ask me about roller derby!” signs, or feel free to ask any of our off-skates league members questions you may have during the games. If you’re a returning fan, be sure to check out our merch so you can support your favorite team in style. More options available at the venue.

We hope to see you there!
